Relay

A relay is an electromechanical switch that is controlled by an electrical signal. It typically consists of a coil and one or more sets of contacts. When current flows through the coil, it creates a magnetic field that activates the contacts, allowing them to open or close. Relays are commonly used in applications where it's necessary to control a high-power circuit with a low-power signal, such as in automotive systems, industrial machinery, and home automation. They provide isolation between the control circuit and the load circuit, protecting sensitive electronics from high voltages or currents.
